Graduation and Immunization

This month many of us are thinking about our children graduating and going off to college. We have protected them all these years and obviously that does not end with high school graduation.

While we are talking about “grown up” kids there are some immunizations recommended for that age group. All college or trade school bound seniors should get the meningitis shot. This is to protect against several forms of this illness.

Also, it is now recommended that all girls get the new vaccine for protection against cervical cancer caused by HPV. This probably soon will be for boys also. We have both of theses on the vaccine program and are inexpensive to get with that program. So ya’ll come and get one! Or call me for more information.
